The Chocolate Drain

This is me. Very tired. Have to get dressed to go to a friend's house. Have to make cookies in 30 minutes. What a hassle. But, would awesome cookie master give up? (say it with me) NO!
To be professional at baking, you gotta know these rules. One, never tell your sister, brother or anyone else, what you are making. (Or else they will eat the batter) Then we will not have enough cookies!

As you see in this picture. I just put the cookies in the oven. You see how they are moist. The cookies are not like that when they come out. Please don't get grossed out. Well to be honest, there is nothing to get grossed out about.

This is how the cookies look after they are baked.
Nice and brown. When you bite into chocolate runs out into your throat. That's how you want your cookies. MMMM mmmm MMMMMM. bye.

Let Your Dreams Come True

With green for mint and pink is my favorite color, worlds have been having trouble making cake. As I, the master of cake making have told you that cakes are very important on your birthday and other days practically. This cake is called a cupcake cake. It is a little small. It is supposed to be bigger, but who cares.

The important thing is the taste.

Why I made this cake... Is because it was my grandma's (nonnina) birthday. I thought that green and pink are a good match. Green is not my favorite color, but pink -- I will fall for it.

This cake is one of my spectacular specialties. I, myself, (I don't care if you do), but I hate vanilla cakes. Have you ever seen a vanilla cake on my blog yet? No. And you never will. This cake is moist, spongy, chocolatey inside. Not one of those junky kinds with hardness. No factory will ever have this kind of cake. And I am only 8 and I make the best cakes EVER! Some people don't even have birthday cakes. Too bad for them. Now look at this cake closely and feel it in your mouth.. Yum

This is a called my frosting hamburger. With a little cute smiley face on it. There was extra frosting, so I thought I would use it instead of throwing it out. SO I thought, why don't I make a hamburger?

I put pink frosting in the middle (oh, my mouth is watering. let me wipe it). The top with green frosting, as you see. When I bit into this, your mouth dissolved. I put pink candies on top.

This cake/hamburger will make your energy level higher than eating one small cupcake. Kachow.

Get the Basil Out

As you know some people really don't like basil. That is why my post's name is GET THE BASIL OUT!

Maybe even you do not like basil. But, this basil is fresh. How I made this pasta is: I made it nice and sticky so the tomato sauce can stick to it. So you don't have to leave any tomato sauce on the plate, because tomato sauce is actually really healthy.

I put water in a pot. I put salt in the water. Then when the water started to boil, I put the nice, sticky past in -- well it was not sticky then. I cooked it a little extra.
About 11 minutes total. I left it in a little more so it got really sticky. So I thought I would make tomato sauce. While my tomato sauce was cooking, I went outside and got some fresh basil. You can suck on basil, chew it or throw it out, which I don't want you to do.

The basil stood up because I made it a little crooked and inside the sauce. As you know, it is not easy to be a professional chef, like me. So open your ears nice and wide so you can be one like me. Ciao!

My Little Minty 'Wiches

My little minty 'wiches  (as in sandwiches) are very famous for me. It is the first time I ever made them and I hope it is for you too. The ganache I made for inside the cookies was very easy and very minty. And that is how I like it because when the cookies are done, you can just take one cookie and dip it into the sauce and it is like a mint party going into you mouth. You make the ganache sauce by putting 6 ounces of chocolate chips (I like Ghiradelli) into a sauce pan, but before you put the chips in the pan, you boil 1/4 cup of heavy cream in the pan on medium fire. Then you stir in the chips and stir stir stir, add 1 small teaspoon of mint extract. If you think it is too minty (although I don't think so), then you can put a little less mint extract. But if you don't have mint extract, you have to change the name of the cookies. I hope you like them. Bon appetito!

these are how they look (rolled out on powdered sugar) before I baked them

These are how those delicious witch cookies look when you bake them.

This is how they look when you put the mint chocolate sauce in.

Viola, I mean Voila!

That's me, almost going to eat it in the morning with kaymak, but I didn't eat them
with some delicious mint chocolate milk! (which I did drink in the morning)

This is my pretty design. I tried to make it like it was in a commercial and I tried my best. Have fun. Eat well.
Good bye.

My Delicious Chocolate Chip Cookies (w/recipe this time)

Well you first have to take the butter (2 sticks) and microwave it to room temperature. And then, put sugar (1 3/4 cups) with the butter in the mixing Kitchen Aid. Speed the mixer until light and fluffy. You know it is light and fluffy by tasting it (that is another confession) Just talking about it makes my mouth water. SLURP.
Take two eggs out of the fridge and add them into the mixing bowl one at a time. After it is mixed with the sugar and butter add vanilla extract (1 tsp). While you make the mix sit, in a regular bowl put flour (2 1/2 cups) any flour, even brown flour which tastes really good, and baking soda (1 tsp) and a leetle traditional Zatby pinch of Kosher salt. You pour the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients a leetle bit at a time, while it is mixing on low. After that you can put any kind of chips -- but not zee chips zat you put in salsa. You can put vanilla chips, dark seasoning chocolate chips, which I think you should use and my least favorite unfortunately, milk chocolate chips. Just remember my last little baby confection and put any kind of secret ingredients you want (but I cannot tell you my secret ingredient). If you want to lean on me, tell me what your secret ingredient will be in the comments below.

Put the oven, maybe if you burn everything in your oven, at 350 degrees, but if you are not busy and look at your cookies like they are your own babies put the oven on 375 degrees, if you have the responsibility. You gotta cook your little babies for 10-13 minutes, but if you have your oven on 350 and you almost burn everything you ever eat, you should look at them at 7-10 minutes. I hope you enjoy them and i hope you didn't burn your babies because they are so precious! And delicious. Good bye my friends/cookie babies.

With milk, this is one of my best secret ingredients or coffee with milk for children or regular coffee or a misto for adults. Whoops I just said my secret ingredient. Now you gotta tell me yours or else it won't be fair.

The Slippery Pizza

When I started to grate cheese, I was so into it. Then I was thinking how my pizza would be so delicious or would my Babacik make it better? I was thinking and thinking until I was so lost in my dream that I would slide on pizza. That is why I call this the Slippery Pizza.

I snacked on the mozzarella while I was grating. (that was just a confession)
The uncooked white pizza with the confession in it.

This red margarita seasoning pizza was made by Zeynep also. Also known as NuNu.

Viola, I mean Voila. Taste it if you listen to me. I hope you like it. Now first taste it and you will get how it is actually made.

Zatby's Mozzarella Pasta

This is the best kind of pasta you have tasted. I could not even say wagga wooga wagga when I ate this delicious pasta. Now, you gotta listen to me, put your listening ears on, please. Well, what you do is you get a pan with water inside it and a little bit of salt. Then when it is boiled you put the pasta in and cook it for 5-10 minutes until it is good, delicious. After it is cooked, you put a little red pepper, black pepper, sage, and two balls of mozzarella cheese on the side. There you have it.

IF YOU ASK ME AGAIN, HOW TO MAKE IT, YOU WILL MISS IT. THAT WILL BE A BIG BAD MISTAKE. BECAUSE IF YOU WANT TO BE HAPPY LIKE ME, YOU GOTTA MAKE THIS PASTA CORRECT. LIKE I SAID, IN THE BEGINNING, I COULDN'T EVEN SAY WAGGA, WOOGA, WAGGA, BECAUSE I AM DELIGHTFULLY MOUTH-FILLED. JUST LOOKING AT IT WHILE I WAS COOKING MADE MY MOUTH WATER SO BAD, IT WAS SO DELICIOUS. I HOPE YOU CAN'T WAIT TO MAKE IT. GOOD BYE. I HOPE YOU LIKE IT!!!!!!
